Margaret changed the game and changed her results!

What a year it has been on the Seacoast! Last January, we hosted a Transformation Challenge and had great results with many who participated – those who were serious about getting solid results and being part of a gym family at On Target Fitness.

Margaret was one of those people, and here’s what she had to say about the gym!

“As a 42 year old woman, I had done the basic gym and typical elliptical and treadmill workouts followed by some matt work. After awhile, I was disappointed that I was not noticing results despite all the time I was dedicating to the gym.  I knew that I needed more variety and intervals in my workouts if I wanted to actually make a difference in my weight, muscle tone and overall strength.

I tried multiple times to find a gym that offered what I was looking for….workout variety, times that worked for me, and a good atmosphere. I could never find a gym that had everything I wanted, so I became complacent and frustrated.


One day I heard about On Target and decided to give it a try.  I was nervous. Could I handle the workouts? Will the people be nice? Will they judge me? Will it be a fashion show? After day 1, I haven’t looked back! Alec is such a positive guy with an immense amount of knowledge and experience. He knows everybody’s name which always amazes me…its like Cheers! Every single one of his staff is amazing. They treat everyone like family, modify any workout for anybody with an injury, or concern and are very supportive.


The workouts are fantastic!


I have never been this excited about working out and actually get up for 6 am workouts (which I have NEVER done in the past). Every workout can be done by anybody, at any level, and at the end I am always shocked it has been 50 minutes. The clientele are all different ages, abilities and sizes. I have been inspired by how people support one another and the camaraderie. The training schedule is also a huge bonus for me as a working mother with many options throughout the day.

Every workout is always different and as challenging as you make it.


Overall, I feel like I struck gold! I found exactly what I have been looking for. After 21 days I was down about 10 pounds and multiple inches! More importantly, I feel so much stronger and more agile. I have muscles back that I forgot about. My body feels like it did when I was playing sports.

I am motivated again to push myself and improve.

I also have been sleeping better. I no longer need to take a sleep aid. My energy is increased and I LOVE going to the gym and feel so much better after their structured workouts that work the whole body in fun ways that make it enjoyable and challenging at the same time.

I urge anyone reading this to take the plunge and sign up! I guarantee it will be a game changer for you as it has been for me. And lastly, I never write reviews. That’s how much I recommend On Target.”
